15TH JULY UPDATE - We believe this issue to be fixed. Please do test it out. We have opened the comments thread for this article, so you can add a comment and let us know how it goes :)
We have had a number of reports that notifications are not working when your tracker leaves the GeoFence.
Please be assured we are looking into this and running multiple tests across trackers and on both the iOS and Android APP.
We know how important this function is, we use it for our loved ones too.
- Try is putting your phone number with your country calling code (E.g +44) ahead of your number in the APP settings under the 'SMS Prompt' setting. For example +447123456789
- Check your mobile phone settings. Ensure that the UBEEQUEE APP has permission to send you notifications. This is usually found on your mobile phone APP settings or Permission settings
- Do not close down the APP fully. Leave it running in the background. For example, when you open recently used APPs and you scroll your finger from bottom to top to fully close it - leave ours open.
